ICC T20I rankings: Virat Kohli enters top 10 after heroics vs West Indies
Virat Kohli stormed into the top 10 of the ICC rankings for batsmen in T20 Internationals after he led from the front in India's 2-1 series victory over West Indies.
Virat Kohli, who is the joint highest run-scorer in T20Is with Rohit Sharma, made 94 not out in Hyderabad before falling for 19 in Thiruvananthapuram. With the series on the line, Kohli came out all guns blazing to smash an unbeaten 70 off only 29 balls.
Not surprisingly, Virat Kohli was named man-of-the-series for his sensational performance. Besides, Virat Kohli moved 5 places to No.10 in the ICC rankings for T20I batsmen.
KL Rahul, who was named man-of-the-match in the Mumbai T20I, moved 3 places to No.6 while Rohit Sharma, whose only significant score in the series also came in Mumbai, slipped one place to No.9.
