Virat Kohli creates another World Record :Over 50 in 2 years
India batsman Virat Kohli has proved it time and again that he bosses the international cricket like no one else. The India skipper is seated on the top of the ICC Rankings for batsmen in both the Test and ODI formats, while is the leading run-scorer in the shortest format of the game.
Kohi, who has made it a habit to break records for fun, has been finishing as the leading run-scorer in the 50-over format(in a calendar year) for the past 2 years. The 31-year-old had topped the run-charts in 2017 with 1460 runs, while ended up scoring 1202 runs the next year. Not just this, he also has the chance to finish it on the top for the 3rd time in a row.
Not just this, Virat Kohli is the only player to have 50-plus average in all the three formats of the sport in 2 years. The firebrand batsman averaged above 50 in 2016 and at present averages 54.97, 60.02 and 52.66 in Tests, ODIs and T20I respectively.
