Many netizens slammed the troll for his vile comment and reported it.
Barely hours after Vijay Sethupathi's exit from Muttiah Muralitharan's biopic titled 800, trolls have descended on the actor's timeline issuing rape threats to his little daughter. Recently, a guy who issued rape threats to cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni's daughter was arrested by the cops.
The troll's tweet went viral on Twitter with several people condemning his behavior. Many shared the person's Twitter handle asking everyone to report the tweet and his profile.
Singer Chinmayi Sripaada took to Twitter to condemn the troll's behavior and tagged the Chennai Police and Adyar Deputy Commissioner of Police.

She shared a screenshot of the troll's distasteful comment and wrote, "A Tamil man who expresses his difference of opinion. This is why they stand in support of sexual crimes in the society. Is nobody in this system going to change this? A man who can say in public about raping a child is a criminal."
In another tweet, she wrote, "Why does this crappy society do this? Watch silently when this happens? How are men raised to speak out about a rape threat? Why is it when adults fight like hyenas, the women and children have to suffer? Shame on all of you who do it and those who watch and remain silent."
