Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajesh's Ka Pae Ranasingam to stream on ZeePlex
Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajesh's upcoming film, Ka Pae Ranasingam is the latest Tamil film to skip a theatrical release. According to the official Twitter handle of ZeePlex, the film will directly release on the OTT platform in five Indian languages. ZeePlex is a pay-per-view initiative from Zee. However, the streaming platform has not revealed the release date of Ka Pae Ranasingam.
Apart from releasing in five Indian languages, Ka Pae Ranasingam has been subtitled in over 10 international languages. Ka Pae Ranasingam will be streamed in over 150 countries.
ZeePlex took to Twitter and wrote, "Stay home, stay safe, we're bringing #KaPaeRanasingam HOME TO YOU on @ZeeplexOfficial. Releasing in 5 Indian languages, subtitled in over 10 International languages, streamed in over 150 countries! It's going to be MASSIVE! (sic)."
On May 23, the teaser of Ka Pae Ranasingam was unveiled by the makers. So far, the teaser has garnered over 4 million views on YouTube and is still going strong on the video-sharing platform. An announcement regarding Ka Pae Ranasingam's release date will be made in the coming days.
Directed by Virumandi, Ka Pae Ranasingam focusses on the struggle of farmers and how the corporate sector exploits the natural resources. In the film, Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajesh's characters are fighting for farmers and standing up for themselves.
As reported earlier, Ka Pae Ranasingam is based on true incidents and will shed light on world politics and the ruling class. The social drama has journalist-turned-actor Rangaraj Pandey, Abhishek and Arunraja Kamaraj in prominent roles. Produced by KJR Studios, the film has music scored by Ghibran, cinematography by NK Ekhambaram, and editor Shivanandeeswaran.
