UP cop saves the day by extinguishing fire on LPG cylinder
The internet is all praises for a UP cop, who smartly handled the situation after an LPG cylinder caught fire in a house. A video of the incident was shared on Twitter by another police officer, Rahul Srivastav from UP Police. "A true baptism of fire for Constable Yogendra Rathi of @sambhalpolice! His indomitable courage saved a priest's hut from getting engulfed in fire. #AngelsInKhaki #UPPolice," Srivastav wrote in the caption.
As mentioned in the tweet above, the cop-in-action in the video is constable Yogendra Rathi. When the LPG cylinder was in flames, he showed utmost bravery and used his presence of mind to douse the fire. Using his lathi, he brought down the burning cylinder from the kitchen slab and kept it on the floor. Then, he dipped a thick carpet of sorts (which was already lying on the floor) in a bucket of water. He went closer to the cylinder and wrapped the wet cloth around it. Netizens loved how the cop sprung into action and prevented the situation from getting out of control. They dropped in comments to laud the brave hero.
