Trains cancelled, frequency of flights reduced
As a precautionary measure, the Western Railways has cancelled six trains namely, the Ujjaini Express (14309), the Ujjaiyani Express (14310), the Madgaon-Nizamuddin Rajdhani (22413), train number (22414) which runs between New Delhi and Goa, the Mandsor-Meerut city Express (29019), and the Dehradun Express (29020).
In addition to railways, airline carriers are also taking precautions. IndiGo has announced that it is cutting down its domestic flights by 25 per cent for the time being owing to the reduction in demand. Private carrier Go Air has decided to suspend all flights for the duration of the Janata Curfew proposed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
