Thalapathy Vijay requests fans not to celebrate his birthday on June 22 due to Covid-19 scare
It's been more than three decades since Thalapathy Vijay made his debut in Kollywood. Over the years, he had earned a huge fan base across the country and continues to attract millions of hearts out there.
The Thuppakki star will be celebrating his 46th birthday on June 22 and fans have already planned many activities on social media.
However, the actor has decided to cancel his birthday celebrations and other social activities in view of the novel coronavirus outbreak.
Vijay has personally requested his fan clubs in every district to not indulge in any kind of celebrations amid Covid-19 scare. N Anand, head of Vijay Fan Club Association in Tamil Nadu, has conveyed the same to the actor's fans across the country.
Many fans have requested the actor to release the trailer of his upcoming film, Master, on the special occasion. However, we hear that the team hasn't decided to release anything as of now except a new poster featuring actors Vijay Sethupathi and Vijay.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Master was supposed to hit the screens on April 9. However, due to coronavirus outbreak, the film had to be postponed. The team is currently working on the post-production and will most likely announce the release date by the end of this month.
Vijay will be playing the role of a college professor in film. Master also features Andrea Jeremiah, Malavika Mohanan, Shantanu Bhagyaraj, Arjun Das and Gouri Kishan in pivotal roles.
There are also reports that the actor will be teaming up with director AR Murugadoss for his 65th film, which will be produced by Sun Pictures.
