Sushant Singh Rajput's bodyguard summoned by ED today
After grilling Rhea Chakraborty, her family members, her manager, and Sushant Singh Rajput's friend Siddharth Pithani, the Enforcement Directorate on Thursday has summoned the late actor's bodyguard. The bodyguard, who worked closely with Rajput for a few years, has been called to record his statement regarding financial or any other irregularities he had noticed while working for him.
Earlier, Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Meetu Singh was also questioned by the ED officials in the money laundering case against Rhea Chakraborty and her family members. The case was registered against the actress after Sushant's father KK Singh's FIR against her in Patna. In his complaint, he also said that Rhea and her family members pocketed Rs 15 crore from Sushant's account. He also accused her of abetment of suicide.
Rhea Chakraborty has been questioned twice by the ED. Her brother Showik Chakraborty and father Indrajit Chakraborty were also grilled. Showik has been called thrice and was asked about his investments and sources of income. On Tuesday, the ED questions Siddharth Pithani, Meetu Singh, and Shruti Modi, Sushant's former business manager.
Sushant Singh Rajput death case is taking new twists everyday. On Wednesday, Sushant's family released a 9-page statement in which they narrated their side of the story. In the statement, they questioned the role of Mumbai Police and how they are aiding Rhea and her family. They also talked about how some people are trying to malign their image by running a slander campaign against them. Shiv Sena's Sanjay Raut had said that Sushant was not on good terms with his father.
