Supreme Court grants 10 years to telecom companies to clear AGR dues

The Supreme Court on Tuesday announced its verdict in the Adjusted Gross Revenue (AGR) case and granted 10 years time to telecom firms to clear outstanding dues.

The 10-year timeline for repayment of the dues will begin from April 1, 2021, said the Supreme Court in its verdict.

The top court, however, said that 10 per cent of the total AGR dues have to be cleared by telecom firms by March 31, 2021.
