Sonu Sood warns migrant workers of impostors: Report if anyone asks for money in my name

Sonu Sood has helped thousands of migrant workers reach their hometowns from different parts of the country amid lockdown. He recently launched a toll-free number so that people can reach out to him for help. But many impostors are charging money from the migrant workers in the name of the actor. Warning people about such impostors, Sonu Sood took to Twitter and asked people to report if anyone asks them for money in his name.

The Paltan actor wrote, "Doston, jo bhi seva hum shramiko ke liye kar rahe hai woh bilkul nishulk hai. Aapse agar koi bhi vyakti mera naam lekar paise maange toh mana kar dijiyega aur turant humein ya kareebi police officer ko report kijiye. (Friends, we are providing our services to migrant workers absolutely free. If someone asks you for money in my name, then refuse and report it to us or the nearest police officer) (sic)."

In another tweet, he shared screenshots of Whatsapp conversation between some migrant workers and impostors and warned them to be wary of such people. He wrote that some people will try to take advantage of their need.
