Rhea Chakraborty asks Amit Shah for CBI inquiry into Sushant Singh Rajput's death

Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14, a little over a month ago. Since then, several people, including certain political personalities have requested for a CBI probe into the 34-year-old actor's death and what led him to this fateful end. Today, Sushant's girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty took to social media to request Home Minister Amit Shah to initiate a CBI probe in Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide case. In a two-part tweet, Rhea wrote, "Respected @amitshahofficial sir , I’m sushants Singh Rajputs girlfriend Rhea chakraborty, it is now over a month since his sudden demise . I have complete faith in the government , however in the interest of justice , I request you with folded hands to initiate a CBI enquiry into this matter . I only want to understand what pressures prompted Sushant to take this step. Yours sincerely Rhea Chakraborty #satyamevajayate (sic)."

She also shared the same note on her Instagram page, along with a photograph of Sushant Singh Rajput.

Earlier today, Rhea Chakraborty had shared a screenshot of a message she received on Instagram where the user threatened to get her raped and killed. She wrote, "I was called a gold digger ..I kept quiet. I was called a murderer ....I kept quiet. I was slut shamed ....I kept quiet. But how does my silence give you the right to tell me that you will get me RAPED and MURDERED if I don’t commit suicide @mannu_raaut? (sic)."
