Radhe Shyam: Prabhas and Pooja Hegde to resume shoot of Radha Krishna Kumar film in October

The makers of Prabhas's upcoming film, Radhe Shyam, are planning to resume the shoot in October, adhering to government rules and regulations. This will be first big Telugu film to go on floors amid the coronavirus scare. Radhe Shyam, directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, has been in the making for about two years now. They were supposed* to wrap up the shoot in April. However, due to outbreak of the novel coronavirus, the production work had to be stopped.

The latest update is that the team has decided to resume the film's shoot from third week of October. Prabhas wants to complete the film by November as his project with Deepika Padukone is likely to begin in January 2021.

The makers are planning to shoot Radhe Shyam with minimal crew in Hyderabad and they have also decided to have two doctors on the sets. They have also decided not to include elderly actors and kids in the schedule. The team had already completed 60 per cent of the film, with major portions of it shot in Europe.

In March, the cast and crew of the film, including Prabhas and Pooja Hedge headed to Georgia to shoot important sequences. They completed the schedule within 18 days and got back home, a few days before the government imposed the nationwide lockdown to combat the novel coronavirus pandemic.

In June, both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh government eased lockdown restrictions and allowed film shooting. Movie sets are gradually coming back to life. The film industry had been instructed to follow necessary guidelines and safety precautions. They have also been instructed to take Covid-19 tests on a regular basis post shoot.

Bankrolled by UV Creations, film will be released in multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam. On July 10, the makers unveiled the title and the first-look poster of the film.

A couple of days ago, Prabhas announced that he will be teaming up with director Om Raut for a mythological film titled Adipurush. Prabhas will be seen playing role of Lord Rama in the film.
