Race 3 actor Freddy Daruwala's father tests positive for coronavirus
Bollywood actor Freddy Daruwala’s father has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The actor confirmed the news and said that his father is being kept at home, in isolation and is in recovery.
Freddy said, “Yes he (my father) has been diagnosed with Covid-19. Luckily, he doesn’t have any pre-conditions and his symptoms are not so major so BMC gave us an option to have him home under isolation. Since we have the facility, we chose to have him home. He is fine now and recovering well (sic).”
Freddy is known for acting in films like Race 3, Commando 2, and Force 2 to name a few. He also played the role of DSP Vikram in ZEE5 series Poison.
The actor made his Bollywood debut by playing the antagonist in Akshay Kumar-starrer Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty. The film released on June 6, 2014.
Meanwhile, the coronavirus pandemic is affecting lives across the globe. 43,48,246 cases and 2,97,226 deaths have been reported all over the world. In India, 78,003 cases have been reported and the deadly virus has claimed 2,549 lives.
The nation is in a lockdown since March 24 to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus.
