PUBG ban in India? Desi Twitter floods Internet with hilarious memes

After banning about 59 apps like TikTok and UC browser, the government banned 47 apps of Chinese origin in the country today. The banned list includes cloned versions of the earlier-banned apps. According to news agency ANI, the list included Tiktok Lite, Helo Lite, SHAREit Lite, BIGO LIVE Lite, and VFY Lite. This move comes after the Indian government announced that they will scrutinise more than 200 apps for national security and user privacy violations, and in case any breach is found, they will most likely ban these apps. According to reports, the list includes the gaming app PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds aka PUBG.

This announcement left many fans of the mobile game heartbroken as all the gamers in India had breathed a sigh of relief after the game did not feature in the previous list of 59 apps. However, today, the fans of the massively popular multiplayer game came across the news that they were dreading all this while. To cope with the fact that the app might get banned in India, the application's loyal fans took to social media to express their feelings with rib-tickling memes. And we have to say that some of them are extremely hilarious. From expressing what parents must be feeling right now to representing the exact emotions of gamers, PUBG fans did a brilliant job.
