Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sign multi-year OTT deal

After stepping down as the senior members of the Royal Family and resettling in California, the USA, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are all set to turn producers.

The two have recently signed a multi-year deal with a digital streaming company. Harry and Meghan’s yet-to-be-named production company will be paid by the OTT platform to make documentaries, feature films, docu-series, and children’s programs, according to The New York Times.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the couple said, “Our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope. As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us.”

According to a representative, Meghan, who became a household name when she starred in the hit TV show Suits, has no plans of returning to acting. However, she may appear on camera during a documentary.

More details about the deal have not been made public.

Meghan and Harry have been staying in Los Angeles with their son Archie since March. Initially, they were staying at Tyler Perry’s home but then shifted Montecito. Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres also live in the same vicinity.

Recently, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry remembered Princess Diana on her 23rd death anniversary by planting her favorite flowers, forget-me-nots.
