For the last couple of days, rumours that actress Nayanthara and her boyfriend, Vignesh Shivan, have been tested positive for the novel coronavirus have been doing the rounds. Their fans are quite worried and many took to social media to enquire about their health. However, on Sunday (June 21) night, Vignesh Shivan took to Instagram and put an end to those rumors. He also posted a cute video of him dancing to the popular rhyme, Baby Shark, with Nayanthara. The couple even used Face App filters. Vignesh Shivan wrote, "And .., that’s how we see the news about us, the corona and the imagination of all the press & social media sweethearts. Anyways! To our well-wishers. We are happy. healthy and God has blessed us with enough strength & happiness to see all you jokers and your jokes (sic)." The video is already a hit among their fans.

Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan are one of the most celebrated couples in Kollywood. The two fell in love during the shoot of Vignesh Shivan’s second film, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, which had Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara playing the lead roles. The couple was set to tie the knot in December last year, but later put their plans on hold for unknown reasons. On the professional front, Nayanthara is currently working on a film titled Netrikann, which is produced by her beau Vignesh Shivan. Directed by Milind Rau of Aval fame, the film is said to be the remake of hit Korean film, Blind, which released in 2011. She is also a part of Rajinikanth's Annaatthe. Meanwhile, Vignesh Shivan is busy with the post-production work of his Netflix film featuring Anjali in the lead.
