Maara: Madhavan and Shraddha Srinath's film was wrapped up before lockdown, confirms producer
Madhavan and Shraddha Srinath's chemistry was one of the most talked-about aspects in Pushkar-Gayathri's blockbuster flick, Vikram Vedha. The duo has joined hands once again for a film titled Maara, directed by Dhilip Kumar and produced by Pramod Films.
For the past couple of days, rumours were rife that 40 per cent of the film was completed before the lockdown was imposed by the Indian government to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus. It was reported that the team will complete the rest of the film in a single schedule.
However, Pramod Films has issued a statement rubbishing them as rumours. The production house shared the status of Maara.
In a statement, the production house wrote, "We are happy to announce that the shooting of Maara starring R Madhavan and Shraddha Srinath was completed before the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic. The post-production work and re-recording will commence soon."
The production house further added that they will be adhering to the rules laid down by the government when they begin the post-production work. Stating the safety of his team members are important, Pramod Films,revealed that they have a lot of surprises in store.
While Ghibran is composing the music, Thamarai has been roped in to pen the lyrics. The film is edited by Bhuvan Srinivasan.
The rest of the cast and crew of Maara will be announced in the coming weeks.
