Lockdown will continue in West Bengal: CM Mamata Banerjee
Day after attending a press conference between chief ministers and PM Modi, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said the lockdown will continue in the state.
Holding a press conference on Tuesday, Mamata Banerjee said, "There must be a balance between tackling coronavirus and save livelihoods."
The chief minister said that the red zones in the state will be further divided into three categories. "We have given time to the police to decide, they will divide red zones into three categories and accordingly relaxations will be given."
Buses will now be allowed to ply in green zones in West Bengal.
