Kanika Kapoor spends time with family in Lucknow after recovering from Covid-19
Kanika Kapoor returned to her home in Lucknow from the city's Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) after battling Covid-19 for days. After testing coronavirus-positive for five times in row, the singer tested negative for the novel coronavirus in her sixth test and was discharged from the hospital.
On Sunday, she posted a photo of herself having a cup of tea with her family members. She wrote, "All you need is a warm smile, a warm heart and a warm cup of tea #familytime #lucknowdiaries #stayhomestaysafe (sic)."
Earlier, on Sunday, she shared a long post on Instagram in which she gave clarifications on "wrong information". She said that there have been several "wrong exchanges of information" regarding her travel timeline and battle with the disease. In the long note, the singer gave a detailed explanation on her travel and her coronavirus diagnosis.
In the statement, the singer said she is aware of "several versions of stories" about her diagnosis, but "negativity thrown at a person does not change the reality".
