Ka Pae Ranasingam teaser out: Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajesh fight for farmers
Vijay Sethupathi's long-pending Ka Pae Ranasingam is all set for a grand release post the lockdown. After releasing the first-look poster of the film yesterday (May 22), the makers of Ka Pae Ranasingam released the teaser amid much fanfare.
The one-minute-forty-seconds long teaser shows Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajesh's characters fighting for farmers and standing up for themselves. Ka Pae Ranasingam, which is based on true events, will talk about world politics and the ruling class.
Vijay Sethupathi's character explains the struggle of farmers and how the corporate sector plunders the resources. Aishwarya Rajesh is seen as a mother who fights for herself and the people in her village.
Produced by KJR Studios, the film is directed by P Virumandi, former assistant to director KM Sarjun of Airaa fame. The social-drama also features journalist-turned-actor Rangaraj Pandey, Abhishek and Arunraja Kamaraj in significant roles.
Ka Pae Ranasingam's technical crew comprises of composer Ghibran, cinematographer NK Ekhambaram and editor Shivanandeeswaran. The film will hit the theatres after the lockdown is lifted.
Vijay Sethupathi was last seen in a guest role in director Ashwath Marimuthu's Oh My Kadavule starring Ashok Selvan and Ritika Singh. Aishwarya Rajesh, who has a slew of films in the pipeline, was last seen in Vijay Deverakonda's Telugu film, World Famous Lover.
