Gorilla lazy film with irritating comedies-better to skip in theatres

Gorilla a soporific so-called comedy movie written and directed by Don Sandy. The movie titled Gorilla has nothing to do with the story of the movie. It is a film with a lazy storyline which not impacted the audience. Gorilla movie will push the audience to the extreme point to exhaust their patience with its heist and repeated pattern of comedies.

The film stars Jeeva, Sathish, Chimpanzee, Shalini Pandey in lead roles. The movie starts with the title credits how Jeeva and friends find the Chimpanzee and then the story leads to past how Jeeva leads his life as a robber, double-dealing doctor, etc. Shalini Pandey plays a soulless character whose role not created any sense in the movie. Romance and chemistry are also not effective between Jeeva and Shalini.

The director has not done justice to the Chimpanzee character because he did not give any strong or lead approach to it. It’s just used as display prop in the film. Earlier the film was promoted and marketed by the presence of Chimpanzee in the movie but it is used just as a special element with no weight age.

The storyline of Gorilla is how Framer Sathik urges Jeeva and his friend to rob a bank to settle down their life.

Sathish and Vivek Prassana comedy was hilarious and irritating too sometimes. The story further moves forward where Jeeva and friends turned into bank robbers and held 18 peoples under their custody.

The film suddenly takes a twist where the intention of Jeeva and friends changes when Farmer Sathik approached them to solve the problem of farmer’s loan. Daring Jeeva veils his face to the police and holds a press conference and announces that if they want to rescue the people they have to waive the farm loan.

Yogi Babu is an only comedy element in the film which proved at least ten percent of being a comedy film. The jokes were regressive and insensitive almost.

Music Composer Sam CS’s songs and background music are among the few advantages of Gorilla. RB Gurudev’s cinematography is also not much good. It is better to skip to watch Gorilla in theatres.

Don Sandy’s Gorilla movie is a stupid movie with a lazy content covering a big farmer issue. The film fails to satisfy and do justice to its title. The film is not even worth for one-time watch.
