Gold metal falls nearly 1%; support placed at 51,300
On September 11 the gold metal was trading lower by 1 percent in India after closing positive at the previous sessions. It was suggested that the yellow metal will remain volatile and find support at 51,300
On Multi-Commodity Exchange, Gold contracts were trading lower by 0.90 percent at Rs 51,310 per 10 grams at 0920 hours. September silver futures were trading 1.4 percent lower at Rs 67,974 per kg.
Gold and silver extended gains on September 10 amid profit-taking in the US dollar index at higher levels, higher than expected US unemployment claims, and weakness in US equities.
