First medical cargo flight to China to fly on April 5

Limited stock of PPE kits left
Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain on Saturday said that there are only 7,000-8,000 personal protective equipment (PPE) kits left in the stock of state-run hospitals in Delhi which will last for only 2-3 days. Jain also said that in the last two days, 600 people who attended the Tablighi Jamaat congregation in Nizamuddin have been quarantined and efforts are on to trace their contacts. The Delhi Health Minister also said that there are 386 confirmed cases in Delhi, out of which 259 are those who attended the congregation.

India on Friday reported its single-largest daily spike in COVID-19 cases with more than 500 people testing positive for the novel coronavirus across the country, taking the total tally to over 2,750.
With Maharashtra, Telangana, and Delhi reporting several new cases of the deadly virus infection, government officials said the numbers have risen in the last few days mostly due to the Tablighi Jamaat event that took place in the national capital earlier in March and which was attended by thousands of its followers.
Delhi reported 93 cases in the last 24 hours out of which 77 were Jamaat event attendees, Maharashtra reported a total of 67 cases of which three had attended the said event, Telangana reported 75 cases in the last 24 hours and all were attendees of the Tablighi Jamaat event. Similarly, Kerala reported 9 cases in the last 24 hours and seven out of these had attended the Tablighi Jamaat event.
