CBSE new exam dates for Class 10th, 12th released: Exams from July 1-15

The much awaited decision has now arrived. The dates for pending CBSE board exams have been announced today. According to the HRD Ministry, the CBSE Board exams for class 10 and class 12 will commence from July 1st to July 15th. All those students, who were waiting for this new datesheet for board exams can now go through the entire exam dates. As per the latest update, CBSE board along with HRD Ministry was currently reviewing the entire situation because of this coronavirus pandemic in all the states as well as in foreign countries to decide on the date for holding pending CBSE Board Exam 2020.

The revised dates for pending papers of CBSE Board exam 2020 have been notified by the board online on the official website i.e.

The HRD Minister was true to his words as Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' had said on May 5, in a live webinar, that a decision on pending CBSE exams will be taken in a couple of days.

CBSE board exams result date

Talking about the evaluation process, the evaluation of answer sheets which have been completed would get over by May-end. From now, CBSE will conduct CBSE 12th exam 2020 for 28 key papers for all-India students along with the CBSE 10th exam for students from north-east Delhi.

However, once the exams for pending papers is completed, the evaluation work for the same would take around two weeks’ time, after which board will be able to declare CBSE result in mid-June 2020.

CBSE Class 10th exams to be conducted only for Northeast Delhi

HRD Minister informed that CBSE exams for 10th class are over for all over the country except Northeast Delhi and adequate time of 10 days will be given to all stakeholders before starting the examinations.

CBSE Board exam 2021 syllabus to be reduced

Ramesh Pokhriyal highlighted that the government is planning to tackle the academic loss of students during the lockdown period. As a response to Covid-19 lockdown, CBSE will assess the loss of instructional time for a proportionate reduction in curriculum load for board exams 2021.
