Come November, and Ayushmann Khurrana will be taking a longish break from work to spend time with wife Tahira and their two children.

“I don’t know how long the break will be. It could be two to three months, maybe more,” the actor informed.

He added, “All of last year and most of this year I was shooting four back-to-back films. So this past one year was really tough. But now I am taking care of it, and I will strike a balance. I am taking time off from mid-November to be with my family.”

“I will soon have to get busy with the promotion of Bala even as I complete my work on Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan,” he said.

After that, Ayushmann is free from professional commitments for a while.

“I haven’t signed any film after Bala. After November 15, I am completely free to spend time with my family. I do realize my children are growing up and my wife needs time from me. I am making a conscious attempt to take time off from work periodically,” Ayushmann said.

The trailer of Bigil, starring Vijay, has just hit the web. Directed by Atlee, the film is a sports drama, which revolves around the women’s football team that has been coached by Vijay’s character. Nayanthara plays a crucial role in the film. The first look, songs, and posters of the film created quite a hype.

Vijay is seen in two avatars in the film, one as a young man sporting a jersey with the name ‘Michael’ written on it, who later coaches the girls team, and the other as Rayappan, who seems to be a local don. Michael is also known as Bigil. The trailer is interspersed with several shots of girls training on the pitch, as well as the anger and resentment towards Michael off the pitch. The older don has some whistle-worthy lines as well.

After 2 years Farhan Akthar breaks silence over his divorce

Published

on

Farhan Akhtar and wife Adhuna Bhabani took everyone by shock when they decided to split a few years ago. After spending years together, the director filed for divorce from Adhuna. But the two have maintained cordial relationship ever since. Not just that, Farhan has also moved on in life and is currently in a happy space. He’s dating Shibani Dandekar and the two lovebirds are extremely happy together.

Farhan has always avoided the question of his divorce. But recently when we chatted up with him, close on the heels of his next release The Sky Is Pink, where his character also goes through a separation before they get back together stronger, he opened up for the first time and gave a very practical answer.

When asked if it was difficult for him to break the news to his kids, he told us, “Nothing is easy. Anything you tell your child which you think your child doesn’t want to hear is never going to be easy. The thing that your child expects you and by you doing it, you will realize that this is what you expect from them. If you can be honest with your child, they are not dumb or stupid. They understand way more than you and I can imagine. They have a sense of energy about how their parents are feeling. As long as you don’t lie to them and you feel ‘it’s okay, I have told them, they can now do whatever’, things will come around. Eventually, a child will understand why you have done what you have done. Maybe not at the moment, but you just have to be honest with them and in turn, they will be honest with you.”
