Arvind Swami to play the villain in Nag Ashwin's next
In February, Vyjayanthi Movies announced that their upcoming film with Prabhas will be directed by Nag Ashwin of Mahanati fame.
According to the latest reports, the makers of the film have approached actor Arvind Swami to play the antagonist in the film. Sources say that Nag Ashwin was quite impressed with the actor's performance in Jayam Ravi's Thani Oruvan and decided to rope him in for the project, which also has a similar character.
Arvind Swami might work on this project after completing AL Vijay's Thalaivi, the biopic on the life of late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.
An official announcement regarding the cast and crew of Nag Ashwin's project will be made soon. Tipped to be a sci-fi thriller, the film will be released worldwide in multiple languages.
Prabhas is currently working on his 20th film, which is being directed by Radha Krishna Kumar. Major portions of the film were shot in Italy and Georgia. Last month, Prabhas took to social media to reveal that he is on a self-quarantine after returning home from Georgia.
Pooja Hegde, who was last seen in Allu Arjun Ala Vaikuntapurramloo, will be playing the female lead.
