Akhil Akkineni asks fans to not celebrate his birthday: No poster or teaser of my film will release

Actor Akhil Akkineni, son of Nagarjuna Akkineni, is turning a year older today (April 8). Many celebrities from the industry took to social media page to shower their wishes.

However, the Hello star has decided to not celebrate his 26th birthday in view of the novel coronavirus outbreak. In an Instagram video, the actor urged his fans to not indulge in cake-cutting or other celebrations.

He said, "I hope everyone is doing good. My fans tend to celebrate it big by indulging in cake-cutting and organising events. However, as we are going through a crisis, I sincerely request all my fans to stay at home and be safe."

There were reports that the actor will unveil the teaser or the first look poster of his upcoming film, Most Eligible Bachelor on his birthday. Putting an end to the rumours, the actor said that he will not be releasing any teaser or poster today.

Akhil said, "No poster or teaser of my upcoming film will be unveiled and it's my personal decision. Please stay with your family in these hard times."
