AIMIM chief Owaisi says to Telangana People"Take money from Congress and Vote for me "
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi has launched a veiled attack on Congress and said the party has a lot of money and it is buying voters. So he advised the voters to take money from Congress and vote for him.
Speaking at an election rally ahead of the civic elections, Owaisi said, "People in Congress have a lot of money, take it from them. You'll be getting it due to me so just vote for me. If they are giving you (money) then take it. I say to Congress to raise the rate, my price is not Rs 2000 only. I am worth more than that."
120 municipalities and 10 municipal corporations are going to polls in Telangana later this month.
On the other hand, Owaisi also alleged that workers of a fringe Hindu outfit had carried out the "targeted violence in communally sensitive Bhainsa town in Telangana where clashes broke out between two communities and demanded stern action against them.
Lone BJP MLA in the state Raja Singh alleged AIMIM workers 'targeted' Hindus while the state party unit condemned the incidents and claimed the state was sitting on "a landmine of communal hatred" fanned by anti-CAA rallies, being "freely allowed and even sponosored" by TRS and MIM.
A trivial issue took a violent turn when members belonging to two communities clashed in communally sensitive Bhainsa town of Nirmal district leaving 11 people, including three police officials, injured in stone-pelting on Monday.
