AIIMS doctors to submit Sushant Singh's autopsy and viscera report findings on Friday

The team of AIIMS doctors, who is studying the autopsy and viscera reports of Sushant Singh Rajput, will be handing over their findings to the CBI on Friday (August 24). The team of four doctors is headed by Dr. Sudhir Gupta from AIIMS Delhi. The team of doctors accompanied the CBI SIT from Delhi to help the investigation agency probe the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

On August 24, the CBI team shared more details with the AIIMS doctors team that they collected from Mumbai's Cooper hospital, where Sushant's post-mortem was conducted. The Special Investigation Team of the CBI is leaving no stones unturned to solve the case. The forensic reports will come handy in solving the mystery behind the actor's death. CBI's Central Forensic Science Laboratory is providing its assistance to the team in the case.

The doctors at Cooper hospital will be questioned today. Two sets of doctors were involved in the process at the hospital. The first set examined Sushant when he was brought to the hospital and was declared dead. The other set performed the post-mortem of the actor. The first set of doctors will be interrogated today by the CBI. The other set of doctors will be questioned later after Dr. Sudhir Gupta, AIIMS team head, hands over his report to the CBI team. Dr. Gupta is likely to join the CBI team when the second set of doctors will be interrogated.

The CBI might also question Rhea Chakraborty and her family members today. Her statement is likely to be recorded either at her home or at the DRDO facility, where the CBI team is staying in Mumbai. The questioning of all the four eyewitnesses, Siddharth Pithani, Neeraj, Deepesh Sawant, and Keshav, will continue on Day 5 as well. All the four men were present at Sushant Singh Rajput's flat when the actor was found hanging in his room.

On August 19, the Supreme Court allowed the CBI to take control of the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. Earlier, Mumbai Police was probing the matter and declared it a case of suicide. Bihar Police was also involved in the investigation after Sushant's father KK Singh filed a complaint in Patna's Rajiv Nagar Police Station. On the basis of his complaint, an FIR was filed against Rhea Chakraborty and her family members. In his complaint, Singh accused Rhea of abetment to suicide. He alleged that she along with her family siphoned off Rs 15 crore from Sushant's bank account.

After the FIR was filed against her in Patna, Rhea Chakraborty moved the Supreme Court to transfer the case from Patna to Mumbai. However, the apex court finally ordered the CBI to investigate the case.
